Bird Walk at Smith Oaks with Pete Deichmann [Birdathon]

In conjunction with Birdathon, Houston Audubon's annual spring fundraiser, we are offering guided birding opportunities for new birders. These bird walks are meant to give participants some hands-on birding experience so they can feel comfortable forming their own Birdathon team and competing! This bird walk will be led by Houston Audubon Land Manager Pete Deichmann at Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary in High Island, Texas. Walk lasts 2 hours or longer if it's a good day. An annual patch ($30) or day pass ($10) is required for admission to High Island sanctuaries, and can be purchased on-site.
