The Flat-footed Boobies rise again!!! Bob & Heather Westendarp are joining up with bird wizards Nina & Mark Sitra for this year's Boobies. We will be out starting early on April 27th and going till dark. Wish us luck - and help us reach our goal by contributing to the Flat-footed Boobies:)

We had our Bird-a-athon day yesterday and it was a beautiful day. We logged 118 species including 24 warblers!!

Birdathon is Houston Audubon's annual spring fundraiser where participants compete to count as many bird species as possible in a 24-hour period while fundraising for bird conservation. Birdathon is a unique tradition that takes place at Audubon chapters across the country during spring migration, and Houston Audubon has participated every year since 1981! All contributions support Houston Audubon's mission to advance the conservation of birds and positively impact their supporting environments.
