Our Mission: To Support Houston Audubon

We’re excited to join Houston Audubon in supporting birds and the habitats that sustain them. Houston Audubon provides essential sanctuary for birds in critical locations and advances knowledge about the lives of birds and their interconnections with broader ecosystems. 

Additionally, Houston Audubon supports migratory birds and advocates for their needs, which they are unable to voice themselves. Almost a third of birds coming to the US migrate through Texas — over two billion.  After long flights over oceans, tired migrants depend on critical habitats in Texas for rest and food before they journey further to breedings grounds elsewhere in the US and Canada.  The habitats provided and sustained by Houston Audubon provide needed safe havens for millions of North American birds.  

Together we will seek to identify as many bird species as possible in a 24 hour period. Please support us by giving to our page. Every dollar goes to support Houston Audubon! No donation is too small and we will match every contribution.
