Hi and welcome to my fundraising page for Houston Audubon Birdathon 2021.
I and my team, the "Barnes' Swallows" are hoping to help HAS raise money to keep protecting and maintaining critical habiitats for migrating and resident birds in the Houston area and the upper Texas coast. Any amount you can contribute will definitley help.
If you haven't yet visited any of the HAS's amazing sanctuaries, please do take the time to head out and visit some of them. Let me reccomend the new Canopy Walkway at Smith Oaks Sanctuary, in High Island TX. This amazing new walkway will give you a great aereal view of birds and lead you to an amazing Rookery where hundreds of egrets, herons, cormorants, and Roseate Spoonbills are nesting and raising their young.
Thanks so much!
Mary Ann
Birdathon is Houston Audubon's annual spring fundraiser where participants compete to count as many bird species as possible in a 24-hour period. All contributions support Houston Audubon's mission to advance the conservation of birds and positively impact their supporting environments.
