Welcome to my Birdathon Fundraising Page!

Birdathon is Houston Audubon’s community fundraiser where teams of all skill levels are encouraged to get out in nature and count birds while raising funds for Houston Audubon’s mission. Your support will help Houston Audubon protect birds through habitat restoration, surveying and monitoring, nature education, supporting bird-friendly communities, and advocacy efforts.

If you know me, then you know that I love animals and I'm passionate about conservation. I've been wanting to do more and have a bigger impact on conservation efforts. With birds in particular, I think I officially became a bird nerd when I took ornithology during my time at Texas A&M.I really enjoyed that the lab portion of that class always began with morning bird walks.This year, I joined Houston Audubon's Young Professionals Advisory Counsel (YPAC) as a member of the Fundraising Committee. I really admire Houston Audubon's mission of protecting birds and bird habitats, which is especially needed here in Texas and the Greater Houston Area. I'm happy that I can be a small part of their fundraising efforts and I hope that you can help me reach my goal!
