Each year, team Out On A Lark meets together to chase birds and fundraise to benefit Houston Audubon Society, for the mission of conserving bird habitat around the Gulf Coast.  Houston Audubon owns and manages over 4000 acres of key habitat which is mission critical to the migration and breeding of important and/or endangered species, including High Island, Bolivar Flats and many other parcels.  in addition we maintain numerous sanctuaries all over the greater Houston/Galveston areas for humans and wildlife to enjoy.  If you want a fun way to cheer on your intrepid friends while supporting birds and their habitats, feel free to contribute to our team either by pledging a donation for each bird we find in a 24 hour period, or by donating a lump sum.  All funds raised go 100% directly to HAS.
